This motor is the biggest or the second biggest for go-karts for its time. Which means 8.2 cubic inch which is 134cc. Up for auction is a vintage Tecumseh H82 engine. THE SPRING AND ROD THAT GOES FROM THE GOVENOR TO THE THROTTLE IS MISSING BUT THATS EASILY BOUGHT OR MADE THE BRACKET COMES RIGHT OFF AND THE CARB ITSELF WAS NOT ALTERED IN ANY WAY. WHOEVER BUILT THIS THING HAD AN AUTO SHUTOFF SWITCH MOUNTED TO THE CARB THAT KILLED THE ENGINE WHENEVER THE BATTERY WAS CHARGED THIS WAS A BATTERY CHARGER AT ONE TIME. TO SATISFY MY CURIOSITY I JUST WENT OUT THERE WITH A CAN A GAS AND A PULL CORD AND SHE FIRED RIGHT UP.I WAS ALSO REMINDED THERE IS NO MUFFLER.SOMEONE ASKED AQUESTION ABOUT THE MAKESHIFT.

NOW IN ORDER TO SHIP AS CHEAP AS POSSIBLE I INTEND TO REMOVE THE CARB AND PULL CORD FLANGE AND PACK THIS THING DRY WEIGHT FOR NO MORE THAN 35.00 ANYWHERE IN THE LOWER 48 STATES BUYER WILL PAY ACTUAL UPS RATE NOT A PENNY MORE SO IF ITS LESS YOU WILL BE REFUNDED IF ITS MORE THAN A NEW INVOICE WILL BE SENT. NOTICED NO SPARK SO I CLEANED THE POINTS NOW HAS GOOD SPARK.EXTREMELY GOOD COMPRESSION.ENGINE HAS 5/8 SHAFT. IT DID SO I DRAGGED IT TO THE GARAGE TOOK THE CARB OFF RIGHT AWAY GAVE GOOD CLEANING. You will get a refund.ĪUCTION IS FOR ENGINE ONLY.I HAVE BEEN STEPPING OVER THIS THING FOR YEARS SINCE I BOUGHT MY HOUSE WAS IN THE BARN FINALLY BENT OVER ONE DAY TO SEE IF IT SPINS FREE. I did an opnline estimate to Washington State and it was approximately $60.

Seller added the following information: The shipping seems to be showing higher than it should. Check my other auction as I will be listing the bike that this came from! Posted with On Jun-27-13. PLEASE NOTE I MAY HAVE TO CUT THE MUFFLER OFF FOR SHIPPING IF I CANNOT UNSCREW IT.

Sears, General Appliance or other Minibike, this vintage Tec could be what you need. The correct Minibike throttle is preset although the rod from the linkage to the governor is missing. I have not tried starting this but it does turn freely. I bought the bike for the 2013 Windber Minibike reunion but didn't have time to go through the engine and get it running. I bought a survivor Trail Blazer Minibike and this was the original engine.

Here is a 69 Tecumseh H50 Minibike engine with lighting coil.
